Program Overview
The Dublin Methodist Family Medicine Residency is an innovative outpatient focused program designed to provide self-motivated learners an optimal educational experience. We offer a unique "office every day" experience, ensuring that outpatient medicine remains the focus throughout every rotation. Residents are invited to tailor their education to meet their needs by joining optional tracks, such as: OMT, Sports Medicine/Ultrasound, Psychotherapy, Lifestyle Medicine, Faculty Development, Quality and Safety, and more. At Dublin, innovation is celebrated! New ideas and interests are welcome, and faculty will collaborate with you to ensure the training you receive prepares you to thrive as a family medicine physician.

Ambulatory Focus - The centerpiece of our training program is the family health center where residents develop the competencies they will need to provide a medical home for their patients.
Self Motivated Learners– We respect our residents as adult learners, capable of driving their own education. Our mission is to facilitate their learning by providing support and resources to needed to achieve their goals.
Innovative Practice – Residents have the opportunity to practice in an ambulatory patient-centered medical home that models the most up-to-date and innovative models of practice.
Individualized Training Curriculum – Residents are afforded the opportunity to individually tailor their training to develop special interests and passions in the context of broad family medicine training.
Education First – Service residents perform is built around specific educational objectives and designed to develop competencies for successful practice.
