Hobbies: I love spending time with my six children, gardening, evenings with friends on the patio, playing with my three dogs and THE BUCKEYES!
Favorite Places to Travel: I spent three weeks in South Africa with my kids on a vacation of a lifetime in January 2019. We started in Cape Town climbing mountains, hiking, enjoying the food and entertainment before taking a tour up the coast. We stopped at wineries in Hermanus and enjoyed the breathtaking coastal towns of Mossel Bay and Knysna. We walked with the elephants at The Elephant Sanctuary, played with monkeys and fed giraffes. My children jumped off the highest bungee jump in the world at Bloukrans Bridge…and my son broke his ankle jumping off a 4 inch platform at the southernmost tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas. We finished our trip with a 3 day safari at Kruger National Park.
Something you might not know about me: I was a kindergarten teacher for Worthington City Schools and until about 5 years ago I played hockey on an all-girls team in the men’s league.
Fun Fact: I was filmed for TLC’s A Baby Story at Riverside in 2001 when my sixth child was born…but never made the cut.
